Boa Barge 36 – Transport of fishfarm

BOA have now completed 2 consecutive transport of 2 section (each with a weight of abt. 2.800T) for the new offshore fish farm Atlantic Offshore Farming (AOF 1).

The transports took place in the period April-May 2021 onboard the heavy cargo semi submersible barge BOA Barge 36 (124×31,5m, 17500DWT) from Emden, Germany to Verdal, Norway.

BOA also provided towing tug, assist tugs, Engineering of grillage and seafastening, Marine Warranty Survey, Towing Masters and logistics in both ports.

The assembly of the sections will take place at Verdal, with the launching and towage to site is expected to take place later this summer.
