BOA has Completed the Load-out, Transport and Float-off the Marine Donut

We are happy to share that BOA has completed the load-out, transport and float-off the Marine Donut, the first fully enclosed floating salmon fish-farm on our semi-submersible Boabarge 34 (140 x 36 x 8.54m, 24.600 t DWT). The load-out of the Marine Donut was done at Asdalstrand, Bamble, Norway and the float-off was done North of the island Sekken, Romsdalsfjord, Norway.

BOA carried out extensive engineering and operational services during both planning and execution.

The unique Marine Donut is designed and constructed by Bluegreen Vision AS at Asdalstrand, Bamble and is constructed in High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The weight of the construction is approximately 750 including the support frame and have an outer diameter of 59m and height of 19.4m.
