BOA provides turn-key solution to MacGregor

BOA have successfully completed the installation of 3 newbuilt mega linkspans for MacGregor in Calais, France. The Linkspans were over 2000 tones, 35m wide and 100m long.

During 3 continuous operations, BOA provided a turn-key solution including assembly of the linkspans onboard the semi-submersible barge BOA Barge 35, handling all port operations including assisting tugs, towing master and operators both in Rotterdam and Calais, transportation from Rotterdam to Calais, float-off operation and installation at the new port facilities in Calais.
