BOA proudly served as the main contractor for the transport and float-off of three newly built mega linkspans for MacGregor in Calais, France. Each linkspan, weighing over 2,000 tons, measuring 35 meters in width and 100 meters in length, was meticulously assembled on BOABARGE 35 while docked in Rotterdam.

BOA provided comprehensive turn-key solutions for the entire marine scope, including the transport from Rotterdam to Calais, the float-off of the linkspans, and the precise maneuvering required to connect the linkspans to their hinges on land.

At BOA, we took full responsibility for all engineering and operational management related to the transport and float-off of the linkspan. From sail-away in Rotterdam to the successful installation in Calais, BOA managed all operational responsibilities, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
